Relion Blood Pressure Monitor
Something to Rely On

The Relion Blood Pressure Monitor may be your best buy, so we'll take a good look at it.

I've owned this type blood pressure meter for a while.

I like it.

However, I can't compare it to other such monitors because it is the only one I've used.

I bought this blood pressure meter when my blood pressure averaged 170/85, and my normal blood pressure was a thing of the past.

It was before I started my high blood pressure diet.

When I last checked, Relion made five monitor models sold exclusively at WalMart.

Here they are:

Auto-inflate Digital Blood Pressure Monitor - Rated a best buy, this monitor features irregular heart beat detection, date and time memory, 5 year limited warranty, cuff measuring 9 - 13 inches in circumference, AC adapter, easy to read systolic, diastolic and pulse display, and artery marker for correct cuff placement. Price $39,88 on last check.

Compact Automatic Digital Blood Pressure Monitor - Similar features to the Auto-inflate model. Price was not available on last check.

Easy Wrap Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor - The cuff slips on and off easily and features irregular heartbeat detection, virtually silent operation, two person memory with time and date stamp, 5 year limited warranty, cuff measuring 9 - 17 inches in circumference, AC adapter, large digital display of systolic, diastolic and pulse readings, and four AA batteries. Price $58.94 on last check.

Wrist Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor - Features and price not available on last check.

Woman's Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor - This is a gentler, more stylist model. It's nice looking and sells for $43.88 on last check.

My monitor is the Auto-inflate model. Here's what one person said about this one:

"I needed an accurate, cheap pressure monitor quickly and I always check reviews. This unit stood out and I have been very pleased with my purchase. It is very easy to set up, . . . , simple to use and is very easy to understand.

"Most units I have used will progressively, painfully, squeeze my left arm far too long, including those in the Dr. office. The Relion builds up quickly and comfortably and always nails it on the FIRST try:)"

Here's another's take on the Easy Wrap model:

"I was very relieved when I finally got my Relion blood pressure monitor. I had purchased two others over the years, and they were very fickle and not very reliable. The last one said my blood pressure was 168/110 -- and I went right in to the doctor where it was 120/83. We took that one back.

"My ... monitor was easy to use and keep track of data. When I went for a checkup, I took my monitor with me and we checked the accuracy against the doctor's equipment. Right on the money!"

WalMart is the exclusive outlet for these reliable monitors. You can't beat the price.

I've had mine for two years, and it still works great.

If you want to get back to or maintain normal blood pressure, getting one of these meters is a good investment.
