Meat Nutrition. It's Important for Controlling Blood Pressure.
I bet no one even mentioned meat nutrition to you when you were a kid. Tasting good was reason enough to eat meat, but because meat is one of the best protein rich foods, let's see how we should eat it. Not only is meat nutritious, it is essential in the usual
high blood pressure diet,
even if only in small amounts. So, let's not fall for the bad rap some give meat. We can use it to lower blood pressure naturally. Normal Blood Pressure is what I'm working towards. I'm not there yet, but my progress is steady and sure, and when it comes to foods high in protein, I'll stick with meat. Why not enjoy meat like I do? So, here's to meat nutrition. Here's to beef, pork, and poultry and all the yummy dishes that are made from them. And for adventure, kudos to the rabbit, buffalo, ostrich and the many game animals that fall into high protein foods. Okay, what do some people have against meat? First is the notion that meat isn't healthy. Statistics seem to show this. Example: the average vegetarian lives longer than the average meat eater. Second is the idea that killing animals is wrong. Seemingly, it is okay for lions, wolves and eagles to get their nourishment from meat, but not man. Third is the argument that eating meat is a poor use of resources. This means that we should bypass the cow and eat only plants. This third one may be so. I don't know, but it's far a field to those of us seeking a workable high blood pressure diet. Those who feel strongly about killing animals should not eat meat. I agree. Argument number one, however, is based on the fallacy that all meat is the same. Two protein facts dispel this fallacy: To lower blood pressure naturally, 1) meat must be cooked properly and 2) lean meat only should be used. The vegetarian versus meat statistics did not consider these two important facts of meat nutrition!
Okay, are you ready to eat lean meat and not burn it?Those are the only two things you need to do to get you rolling toward normal blood pressure, as far as meat is concerned. Buy lean cuts, skin the poultry, carve out the fat you see, then eat these protein rich foods. This advice does not fit in the vegetarian diet, of course, and you may have to modify what meat you eat if you are going to follow the
Blood Type Diet.
Meat nutrition gives you foods high in protein, so you never have to worry about getting enough of this vital body requirement. Enjoy.
