Hypertension Prevention. Better than Ice Cream or Pizza?
I'll let you in on something. Hypertension prevention is the mission of our members. That said, I would prefer that my normal blood pressure came from eating pizza and ice cream. Fifty-three years ago, I had my first slice of pizza in a bar near the campus of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Any thoughts of me having high blood pressure fifty years later probably resided in some black hole on the other side of the universe. That pizza experience was a real pleasure moment, and I have no intention of giving it up. So, I fit it into my
high blood pressure diet,
which allows me to have some "bad stuff" during my free day each week. I eat pizza maybe once or twice a month. Never did eat it much more that that. Yet, I'm into hypertension prevention big time and subscribe to the mission of our members.
What is the mission of Normal Blood Pressure Diet members? That's easy. 1. Maintain normal blood pressure, and if it is high, bring it down to normal.
2. Use natural methods for hypertension prevention.
3. After one's own blood pressure is well on its way toward normal, help someone else with theirs. I am following these steps. As you can see, I'm working on step 3 now. This all came from my vision, which I hope you'll share.
Here's the vision of many of our members Our members are taking charge of their health like a tortoise, not a hare. They are making changes in diet, exercise and lifestyle at a slow even pace that is sustainable. They are in it for the long run and have shunned the quick fix that fixes nothing. They are adventurers and experimenters making definite and measurable progress toward their blood pressure goals. When something works, they keep it. When it doesn't work, they ditch it and move on to something else. That is the basic vision I have. Why don't you adjust it to fit yourself? Make good use of this site, and you'll be on your way to seeing your vision come true.
