High Blood Pressure Herbs.
Why Not Try some?

If Herb comes from Herbert, do herbs come from herberts? Luckily, high blood pressure herbs have more important work to do than deal with my cracked sense of humor. Let's find out what they can do for you.

Herbs that lower blood pressure or help us maintain normal blood pressure are a boon to any high blood pressure diet.

I've been using some like garlic and cayenne pepper mainly because they are food seasonings, but other herbs like hawthorne and coleus forskohlii would make food taste horrible, so we take them like medicine, and in fact we call them medicinal herbs.

An herb is a plant or plant part valued for its medicinal, savory, or aromatic qualities.

High Blood Pressure Herbs An example of a medicinal herb: uva ursi.

An example of a savory herb: tarragon.

An example of an aromatic herb: hibiscus.

All of these are herbs to lower blood pressure.

Most high blood pressure herbs are medicinal. Some are savory and used for flavor. Very few are purely aromatic. Some fall into more than one of these categories.

Here's a list of medicinal herbs for high blood pressure: hawthorne, coleus forskohlii, olive leaf, buchu leaves, uva ursi, juniper berry, ginko biloba, valerian, neem.

These savory herbs can be used in food: garlic, ginseng, yarrow, cayenne pepper, tarragon, dandelion root powder, ginger, fennel seed powder, fenugreek, saffron, oregano, black pepper, basil.

Aromatic herbs that lower blood pressure naturally are alfalpha, hibiscus flowers, green tea. These are often used to brew tea for taste and aroma.

High Blood Pressure Herbs
Herbs can be broken down by where they originate or by tradition.

Chinese herbs and Ayurvedic herbs are the most well known examples. Other geographical areas that have a tradition of natural healing have their own herbs.

Usually, these are medicinal herbs. Those professionals using these herbs for high blood pressure are doctors practicing alternative medicine, naturopathic physicians, chiropractors, nutritionists, Chinese traditional doctors and Ayurvedic physicians.

You are certainly free to purchase these herbs yourself, but you may want to consult a health care practitioner familiar with their use.

Whether you are working out your high blood pressure diet or just trying to maintain normal blood pressure, high blood pressure herbs should be part of your diet plan. May you have great success.
